Welcome Back to the CSN Stores Blog Network and Family-Focused Fridays. It's mid-August and that means we only have a few more weeks of summer left. Many of us made sure that our kids had a lot of fun things to do -- in fact, we might have gone overboard. Those bittersweet feelings of yet another season fading into our personal histories is mixed with excitement and a pinch of anxiety for the next school year.I can't believe it, but my daughter, Chloe, actually asked us when she'll be able to start Second Grade. She's counting the days until school starts. It's the first time I've ever known a 7-year-old to try to speed up summer, but hey, if she likes school that much, that's a plus, right? Maybe after 10 birthday parties (like the one pictured here), five different camps, about 20 play dates and lots of family day trips, Chloe actually sees that her parents bit off more than they could chew for summer. While Chloe might be looking forward to returning to school, her enthusiasm isn't close to the feeling many parents have, who think their Summer Break is verging on a Summer Breakdown at this point.
